It’s an ideal short walk which starts from Buhoma along the River Ivi-Nkuringo trail and culminates in the sensational sight of the falls plummeting 33 meters. The walk also pays you with the sights of birds as well as primates that are always rotating in the forest edge. The famous waterfall trail in Buhoma region offers an impressing feature of the forest with an abundance of tree ferns, epithetic ferns, orchids and Bwindi’s colorful range of butterflies. This trail which leads to 3 delightful crystal clear waterfalls typifies your impression of a tropical rain forest.

The Ivi River Walk

Rushura Hill Walk

This famous trail passes through one forest shared by two countries. It also provides extensive sights and views of the great features like Lakes Edward and George and the Rwenzori Mountains as well as the stunning conical peaks of the Virunga Volcanoes.

The Buhoma-Nkuringo Trail

This is the most interesting trail which can take three to four hours of exploration. The trail takes tourists through the park, connecting to the two villages. The trail offers impressive views of the misty hillsides as you ascend the hills towards Nkuringo.
