The Lakeside Resort is located 10km from the park’s visitor center at Kanyanchu and 21km from the town of Fort Portal. The resort’s many rooms include singles and doubles in the guesthouse which have en-suite private facilities. The campsite and cottages have outside facilities. From the resort’s premises, tourists can enjoy stunning views of snowcapped Rwenzori Mountains and Nyabikere Crater Lake (which in a local dialect means lake of frogs) along whose shores it is located. The resort served by piped water which serves the modern shower rooms, modern restrooms; fireplaces, electricity, conference facilities, and a wide and secure parking space. Meals and drinks are served by friendly members of staff at the lodge’s restaurant.

Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve

This accommodation center offer accommodation in form of grass thatched bandas which have electricity powered by solar equipment and have the capacity to host up to five guests per night. They also serve delicious meals in a fine dining area. Security is top priority evidenced by the 24 hour surveillance technology. Pit latrines are also available on the lodge’s premises and they are artistically built in the African architecture. Lake Nkuruba Nature reserve is situated along the Rwaihamba road, just 18km from the town of Fort Portal.
