Day 1: Transfer from your hotel to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda. Break your journey with a stopover at the Equator and Lunch in Mbarara town at Igongo cultural centre and finally to your prior booked hotel/ lodge for dinner and overnight

Early in the morning, prepare to depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have your early morning breakfast at your hotel where you will be picked by our Uganda safari guide at around 8am. Upon arrival at your hotel, he will give you a short briefing about your 7 days Uganda Rwanda primate safari tour. After the briefing, you will set off for your safari journey via the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara highway driving through the central region; this region is generally flat and covered by savannah grasslands. You will drive a distance of about 386km for about 7 hours without stopovers. You will have a break of this long journey with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for photographs, a polar water experiment and as well as visit the souvenir shops around. Continue with your journey to Mbarara town at Igongo cultural centre where you will have lunch. After your lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for your dinner and overnight at your prior booked lodge.

Early in the morning at around 6am, you will be picked by your driver guide for your early morning game drive in the park. Early morning game drives are very rich as you will be able to catch a glimpse of the early risers and late-night hunters before they go into hiding or before they start off with their daily activities in the jungle. You will see many animals including Elephants, Uganda kobs, Antelopes, baboons, buffaloes, warthogs, tree climbing lions and several birdlife. The morning game drive lasts about 3-4 hours depending on your interests. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax and have your lunch there. In the afternoon after your lunch, you will do a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel; a river that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. While on the boat, expect to see lots of water animals including; hippos and crocodiles. You will also see lots wildlife along the river banks as they quench their thirst. As part of your adventure still, you will also sight a variety of bird species along the shores. All these moment s will leave you with unforgettable memories. The boat cruise takes about 2 hours and after you will return to the lodge, dine and overnight.

Day 3:  Have a morning game drive in Ishasha as you depart the park for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda to your prior booked lodge, dine and spend a night there

On this day, wake up to a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, prepare to depart this part of the world for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at around 8am with your driver guide. You will do a simple game drive along the Ishasha trail in search for the tree climbing lions for about 3-4 hours. Have lunch in Ishasha and then procced with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at your lodge, relax, have dinner and overnight stay there.

Day 4: Do your gorilla trekking activity and Batwa trail depending on how you will be feeling. Return to the lodge, relax, dine and spend your night there

Wake up early morning, enjoy breakfast, have your lunch packed and drive to the park headquarters where the gorilla trekking activity begins as early as 7am to catch the Uganda gorilla safari briefing about the code of conduct when trekking mountain gorillas in the forest. After your briefing, you and your ranger guide will hit the forest for your amazing expedition of meeting the gorillas. As part of your adventure, you will see different tree species in the forest as well different bird species. As soon as you sight the gorillas, you will enjoy an hour observing their behavior as they continue with their daily activities in your presence; not forgetting to take photographs and videos for memories of this activity.

Depending on how you will be feeling, in the afternoon, you will engage in a guided walk to the Batwa homesteads for local entertainment from these early human inhabitants of Bwindi Forest. Return to the lodge, have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Nyungwe National Park Rwanda to your prior booked lodging facility, relax, dine and spend your night there

Prepare to depart Uganda for Nyungwe National Park Rwanda after your morning breakfast at your lodge. You will drive through the rolling hills, a journey that will take you around 8 hours via the Ruhengeri-Gisenyi road. Arrive in Nyungwe National Park at your prior booked accommodation in the park.

Day 6: Do chimpanzee trekking in the morning and canopy walk in the afternoon. After your day activities, return to the lodge

After your early morning breakfast, you and your driver guide drive to the park offices for a short briefing about how to conserve the forest when trekking the chimpanzees (do’s and the don’ts of chimpanzee trekking). You will then enter into the forest for your Uganda chimpanzee trekking safari with the rangers to search for the chimpanzees. During your chimpanzee trekking safari Uganda, you will watch some chimpanzees on the ground and others in the branches of the trees in the forest. Expect to hear chimpanzees make several sounds, chattering, laughing and watching them jump from one branch to another. While you look for the chimps expect to spot more primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkey, manageably. Trekking takes about 4 hours so take as many photos and videos as you can. Return to the lodge for lunch and refresh as well.

After lunch, go for your afternoon canopy walk, on a bridge that is suspended from large trees. While there, you will be able to have a great amazing view of the rainforest spotting a good number of birds in the forest as well wildlife moving about below you. This activity takes about 2hours. Retreat from the activity and return to the lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Kigali for your flight or to your booked hotel

After breakfast you will drive to Kigali Rwanda for your city tour and return to hotel or catch your late flight at the airport.
